Royalties for Regions

Royalties for Regions will provide $1.2 million over 4 years to provide regional communities with access to visual and performing arts touring opportunities. These funds assist to invigorate and build on existing arts and cultural activity in regional communities.

The program is part of a long running partnership agreement to support WA Ballet„ WASO, Black Swan Theatre and WA Opera to tour the regions.

The project aims to overcome the problem of inequitable access by some regions to the State's four premier flagship major performing arts companies.
